Make your own Garden Planters
You don’t need an allotment to grow your favourite plants, flowers and vegetables.

Now summer is in full swing, making a garden planter is just one of the amazing ways you can improve your outside space. Quay Timber has a range of different timber materials to help you make your own.

Sleepers, Decking boards and ungraded scaffolding boards can all be used to make your garden planter.

Sleepers
Quay Timber’s Sleepers come in Green, Brown and Oak. They are 100x200x2400mm and can be used to create a more rustic and reclaimed look.

Decking boards
Quay Timber's Decking boards come in a range of different lengths, from 2.4m – 6m. They are 32mm in depth and 125mm (5inch) in width. If you want your garden planters to be in-keeping with you garden deck, then these could be the perfect option.

Ungraded scaffolding boards

Quay Timber’s ungraded scaffolding boards are 35x200x3000mm sawn and treated carcassing. They have a pale and softer finish which means they look great painted, stained, or left as they are. Visit our hardware page to view our range of paints and stains.
